Passing the exam is the start. FAEI membership is how you keep the credential alive through the Body of Knowledge, learning events, and engagement with your functional area. Each one earns points. Points keep your certification current for the year

Choose the level that matches your practice.
New Enablement Labs are activated on an ongoing basis. Premium and Fellow members receive every new lab as it opens, at no extra cost.
Twenty-four Enablement Labs
Ten clusters
Every functional area an organisation runs on, grouped into ten clusters. Basic gives you one lab your own. Premium and Fellow give you all of them.
11 of 24 labs are active today; the rest open through 2026. Premium and Fellow members receive every new lab the moment it opens, at no additional cost.
Membership is the door
Certification is the credential
Your membership decides where you can practise one lab, or all of them. Your certification decides what you must earn to keep it. They are separate ladders, joined at a single point: the only way to earn points is through what membership unlocks.
This means the credential ladder is open to everyone. A Basic member can hold a Fellow-grade certification in their lab they simply earn 50 points a year instead of 20. What you pay decides where you certify. It never decides how high.
What it takes, by certification level
You hold what you choose to hold, and you maintain what you hold. Points are earned per lab, and each certification is maintained on its own.
What earns points, and how much
A Practitioner can reach 20 points by attending and studying alone. A Fellow cannot reach 50 without contributing — publishing, speaking, or mentoring. At the top of the ladder, staying certified means giving something back to the field.

The Body of Knowledge is $100 on its own. Basic membership is $100 and the BOK is included, along with your lab’s events, a practice exam, the points tracker, and an active certification for the year. The membership pays for itself on day one. Another $100 opens all twenty-four labs.
What earns points, and how much
Every corporate tier gets all 24 labs.
Because certifications are kept alive by points, an organisation can see exactly who holds an active credential and who is about to lapse.
No other tier of value in this model is as difficult for a competitor to copy.
Beyond membership: partners who deliver the Institute
Members buy from FAEI. Partners deliver it carrying the Body of Knowledge, the certifications and the labs into universities, academies and classrooms
For universities, business schools, training centres and corporate academies. Named accounts across the institution, co-branding, full catalogue access, and certification discounts for staff and students. Routes available for authorised training delivery, continuing education, and degree-embedded credentials.
$2,900 / yr — 2 members included, further members at a discount
For accredited trainers delivering FAEI programmes. Delivery rights, a materials licence, train-the-trainer sessions, and a listing in the trainer directory. Facilitators attend open courses at the member rate.
